Perfect. Luxury in the jungle, with a beach at the end of the road and just 5 minutes drive from the wave. Beautiful architecture (somehow even nicer than the photos) and extremely comfortable. Made more comfortable by Gustavo as the gentleman host who is communicative and can help with anything.

We loved staying in this beautiful home in Pavones set in the jungle - a 3 minute drive / short walk to the beach and the amazing surf. Incredibly private location surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. We saw toucans, macaws, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys and amazing blue butterflies - all while lounging next to the most beautiful deep blue pool. The pool area also has an outside shower and a big charcoal Weber grill (you can buy “carbon” at the local grocery stores). As a bonus, the caretaker can help you get fresh fish and coconuts. The entire home has a great indoor/outdoor living feel with large windows and sliding doors.

The home is also really well appointed - the kitchen is well stocked: big gas stove, oven, dishwasher, stand mixer and utensils. There’s a kitchen/bar counter with bar stools next to the stove that makes the entire kitchen area feel very social. The beds and linen are incredibly comfortable. The showers are hot and the showerheads are massive! The couch in the living room is incredibly comfortable (especially for a post-surf nap!) and there’s a big TV to entertain yourself. We also loved little touches like lots of towels (inside and for the pool), yoga mats, etc.

The internet is fast (10-12 Mbps up+down) and reliable - more than good enough for weeks of working remote, doing Zoom calls and streaming movies. The area has short (few seconds) power outages a few times per week and these are easily bridged by the uninterruptible power supply (UPS/battery) that keeps the internet working throughout.
